How can be a excellent leader

    It is interesting to note that no matter a great corporation like Apple or a excellent individual like Martin Luther King, they both have a common factor to be succeed---their thinking ways were totally from others. 

    As a common person, we always think things in a regular way, here is the step: what--how--why. For example, when we want to sell a product, we always glad to introduce some functions or features of that product, we just keep saying what we know about them, because our aim is to sell these product, however,have you imagined why people are willing to buy your product? An excellent leader will first talk about what he believe, that is the main ideal of your product, then he will attract those who believe what he believe. Then he will say by which way this product can show what he believes, later he will talk more about the product itself, so that is why you want people to buy your product. Rather than keep talking the advantages of your product, say more about what you believe will make people more inspired. A typical case is also Apple, if you believe what is the soul and ideal of Apple, you may want to buy all the products of Apple, not only iPhone can attract, but also,iPad, iPod are also attractive. 

   The aim of salesman is not sell the product itself, the aim of a speaker is not need more people support his speech and ideal. What they both are concerned are the soul they want to deliver to the consumer and listener. So talk about what you believe, you will attract those who believe what you believe. 

The amazing experience in my Spring Break.

The past 10  days in Spring Break is one of my unforgettable period during my life.

The first day, my boyfriend and I were waiting for the IELTS test result, which was the forth time we attended this test. Full of anxious and nervous, if we failed again, it means we would cancel the plan for Spring Break, and we had to revise again for the next test. Lucky, when we entered the test result system, we input our basic information, then the test result showed in front of us---We passed it! Both of us achieved  satisfied test scores. Everything like in the dream, but it really true. Accordingly, we can continue our plan for Sping Break----Our aim was to drive through 6 states in the western area in United States, California, Nevada, Iowa, Washington, Oregon, respectively.

The next day, we rented camping equipment, such as tent, sleeping bag, and field equipment for cook. So that, we can live in the tent, which could not only give us the experience to get close to nature, but also save a great deal of expense allocating on hotel. After all the preparation, we set up at 4' clock,  till the day became to night, we had to find a camping ground to have a rest. According to the GPS, we successfully arrived at a camping ground. However, disappointed us, there was no light in the camping ground, although it charged us 45 dollar and regulated by government. we can just use torch, to set a tent immediately. Unbelievable, after we finished setting up our tent in the dessert, I noticed a sign that said:" Please be friendly with our snake friends!" As for me, snake is the most and the only animal that can make me extremely sacred. We are so scared to what we have seen that we scream for fear. So we have to pick up the tent and move this terrible place!

That is 2' clock at night, we had drive continue or we had to sleep in the car! Long time driving made us extremely tired, we found a rest area in the Road 395, then took a nap until the drawn came in.

We drove at least 8 hours everyday,the next day seemed went well. However, a nightmare came to our life again--when we passed a town in Iowa, we got a ticket from police! Actually, It was a lady told a policeman that we drive passed her! So ridiculous!  Because our car were under the speed limit, also, we passed the car just in the space---we called --between the double-yellow.In fact, the policeman didn't think we are wrong, instead, the lady insisted that we defend the traffic rule! The policeman speak numerous sentences to us, because of poor English ability, we couldn't understand what he said. We just said" YES",which in their mind we admitted our mistake.As a result, a-90-dollar ticket became our part of our journey.

We thought although this trip were bad at beginning, we might would get rid of bad fortune. "We will never meet policeman!" However, the next day, when we passed a small town at midnight, we were caught by policeman again. What is worse is that we broke the law of Washington State. Despite we had a lot of reasons to defend ourselves, the true was that we were driving 60 miles when the speed limit is just 35. We had to say goodbye to our journey in advance! The police man told us either we pay a great deal of fine or we go the jail! We had to go to court, let judge to deal with this issue. We had never met this issue in California before even be stopped by policeman! We didn't know what we should do to deal this things, we even didn't know what the court looks like,and what we ought to do in the court.

Actually, it was a so long story, I afraid I can't describe it well. Everything was amazing. Finally we were free from this situation. If some of them want to know more details of them I am willing to share, I just afraid all these words can't describe the whole story impressive.

In one word, it is a terrible journey expect for the beautiful view that could make us feel a little bit enjoyable. The last day of the trip, we had driven from Portland to Los Angeles for 16 hours, without any break!!!

challenge

In the present age, people are struggling make a live, so that they can keep the pace of the high speed development of our society. Everyday, they face numerous files and documents, which can be gathered as high as that  of buildings in big cities. Sometimes analyzing  statistics, focusing their eyes on computer will make them crazy, together with heavy pollution, serious traffic condition, and large population, people want to escape the pressure from work, they want to far away cities.

A group of people are the typical representatives who struggle to work, they plan to make full use of their vocations, they change their working schedule, and set out to a natural place, It is a snow mountain. Actually, it is really cold, the top of the mountain is embraced  by the cloud. the trees in these areas are wearing white clothes, snow are collected near the river, which is at the foot of the mountain. Obviously, the environment and weather condition here is not optimistic, although it is far away from cowed cities. It is really confusing that why this hang of people choose this place to have vocation?  Admittedly,  if they want to climb to the top of the mountain, they have to overcome the the sense of fear in their mind,also, they have make great preparations both in their physical and in their psychological. However, if this place for ski lovers, it is excellent place for vocation.

In fact, this group of people doesn't go skiing in this snow mountain, because they doesn't bring any ski equipment, for example, ski and snowboard. Most importantly, they just wear T-shirt, it seems that they  treat this snow mountain as volcano.Essentially, they want to challenge themselves. How can they do the first step of challenging? They have to get over the river, above which there is a wooden bridge, which is the only band connect the mountain with the entrance. As we know the wooden bridge has a pretty poor quality. It is very dangerous for people go though the bridge without any safety precautions. It still exits high possibility that the bride will be broken. Once they fall from the bridge without caution, they may fall into the river, although some parts of the river is frozen. I really appreciate their courage and determination, they set their first step onto the bridge, they go ahead towards the destination--top of the snow mountain.

Maybe this is a great way for them to totally release their stress from daily, at same time, they want to challenge themselves, which will help them better face and deal with the difficulties in their future life, including the pressure from work, this is just a beginning for them to change and adjust their mind.

My Story 

I have experience a very difficult period during my life. So when mentioning this topic, that memory comes to my mind immediately.

In China, university entrance examination is most important exam in everyone's life. Accordingly,  take this most important exam is also one of the meaningful things in our whole life, which is not because of examination itself, rather than the experience you are preparing for this exam. There is saying goes, " The life without taking university entrance examination is not a real life."Obvious, this exam is one can determine individual's destiny,essentially, if you lose in this match, you will lose the life you dreamed. In fact, this examination is held one time in a year, therefore, every candidate must grasp the only chance to write the history of personal life. 

I am a loser in this examination. When I was in high school, I was  selected into the best class in our school, because of my satisfying performance in academy in the first school life. However,  I was a person extremely lacking of confidence, I felt a great deal of stress every day when I was siting in the classroom. Stifling atmosphere in classroom made me pretty uncomfortable, which made me become self-abasement. Actually, I am a very diligent person like other students in this class, spending at least 18 hours everyday in studying. I felt I really devoted all my energy and time to studying  for pursuing success in this exam, then following my dream. 

I failed in this essential examination, which means I will lose my life. When I got the result of exam, I locked myself in my bedroom, to avoid contacting with anyone I knew expect for my parents who placed great hopes on me. 

I didn't know how can I do to track with the situation I faced with. Crying was a thing without any meaning, but I kept repeat it again and again. I was very scared to see my parents'eyes, I totally understood that  nobody in my life love me much more than them, yet, I could felt the feeling of helplessness from them. Encourage and support  from my parents is the only power for me during that time, which push me to optimistically  face the life. They are the only person who witnessed the effort I devoted to the exam and the way I pursue the dream. They woke up everyday to work for me and finally, they earned the chance for me to restudy the last year in high school, and earned the opportunity for me to attend the examination again. They wanted me to try again, to prove myself that I can do it--I am not a loser.

I achieved this previous opportunity to restudy in high school, which inspired me a lot. Although I would far away for home, leaving  my parents  to a very hard environment to study, although I would miss them , becoming homesick, and although I not true whether I can  success in this way. I must do it, must follow the sound from my mind--do it.

One year later, when I took the second time in this exam , I made it!

How a Proverb Motivate Myself

The pencil box I have kept since I attend the first year in university, now it was accompany with me entering into the 4th tear. The pencil box is very common, without any special characteristics. However, a proverb," Roman was not built in a day" matching  a pattern of Italy is sewed on its surface.

Mentioning the proverb,it means we can't do everything well just in a very short period. Once we want to start something, we always desire it can be finished as soon as possible. A case in point can be best illustrated is when children begin to study English vocabulary, at the initial period, he was always full of confidence and energy, he could review at least 10 pages of vocabulary book everyday,  when it came to the 10th of study, he thought he could master all the vocabulary he had had learned in recent days, and proud of himself for grasping English well.

However, when he began to watch a Disney carton, he found it was hard to understand what character said. Finally, the child may lose the interest in English, " why I have remembered so many words, I can't still understand what they say in the movie?" the child complained.  In fact, when we are in the process of do something, for many of us, we may give up halfway for it's difficult to keep it continue. AS the saying goes," Roman was not built in one day."  Accordingly, success comes from persist and the courage; success need us step by step; success is the process of accumulating. 

The reason why choose this pencil box and let it accompany with me these year is I want to remind myself every second: never give up, persist doing it, I will build "Roman" belonging to myself.

Actually, I have failed a lot of times on the way towards my dream, some of these moments, the only thought in my mind is give up. Indeed, I can easily bet down by difficulties. I can't deny myself a one lack of confidence  easily. 
I hope this proverb accompany with me in the near future, encouraging me persist what I pursue. 

Intriduction of a Girl

 

 

Twenty three years ago, a girl named Yanjie came to the world. Then the next 22 years, she was living in China with her parents, with a very peaceful life. However, just nearly 6 months ago, a turning point came to  her life---she moved to USA, studying in csuf.

Actually, she is a ungergraduate student majors in logistics. At her third year of her college life, she heard from that there was a one-year exchange program in her original school. Obviously, it is a great chance for her to attend this program, so that she will have the chance to feel the overseas culture, contact with different regions people,and board her herizon, etc.
This is her second semester in CSUF, she decide to attend ALP class 5days ago, because she want to improve her English abilitiy in terms of speaking, listening, reading, and writting.
The girl especially likes traveling. At the initial 3 years in her college life, she spent most of the holiday travelling to different places in China, nealy two-third provinces and regions were left her footsteps. Besides, she is really interested in doing the volunteer work, 2 years ago she was a volunteer teacher in  impovershied area in China, and it was that period that totally changed her attitude to life----Cherish the life she has, never complian.
Then, mentioning the hobbies she has,  singing, swimming, reading are all arranged in her daily schedule, although her voice is poor, her swimming skills still at initial stage, the number of the books she have read is very small, she still keep doing all of these.
Finally, it is intersteing to note, the girl is me!
